Hi, this is 100% an excuse to talk action scenes that I like. There are a ton of amazing scenes I didn't include or haven't seen. Comment your favorite fight scene in movies and maybe I'll make a part two. 😊

You're a fucking genius. Jackie Chan doing "the ric flair" had me on the floor crying and holding my tum tum😅😅😂😂

That's what I always say wrestling and movie stunts can be compared to what stage play is to cinema. When filming a movie you can fail and try again as much as you want, while doing a stage you're live pal you cannot fail ever. BTW great choices of scenes!

When it comes to action movies and wrestling, I have to go to my favorite action movie of all time, and I mean this unironically: 1994's Street Fighter. Yes, the Raul Julia one. That movie is the TJPW of corny action movies, in that it is everything in one place. You get good hard hitting stunts alongside comedy both intentional and otherwise, just a fantastic heel promo from Bison, great one liners... it's cheesy as hell and I love it.

Great video Meerkat. Any Jackie Chan scene counts as you mention, I always liked "Raging Phoenix (2009)" for the action.

Great video and glad to see the meals on wheels fight aka the best fight in cinematic history and Benny the Jet is just unreal and was a reason I got into martial arts and kickboxing in the first place.

Not long ago Syuri filmed some action scenes in that style. Should be somewhere on her social media. That will be such a low effort of my part but, Revenge of the sith, Anakin vs Obi-Wan duel of fates on Mustafar. Nowdays it's hard to watch, since every scene from prequel trilogy became a meme .
@meerkat_ultraАй бұрын
@@DARTHORK1988 that fight is still epic and stands out as the series best lightsaber fight in my opinion with not just classic choreography but their Jedi combat styles also representing their philosophy 🔥

I have to agree, it would be cool to see some different camera shots in wrestling, I don't expect it out of the likes TJPW or Chocco pro, but the likes of AEW and WWE could totally do some action movie shots outside of cinematic matches and it would be cool

If you want to see a great wrestling match, I recommend the fight at the end of "An Officer and a Gentleman". Yes, it is a romance movie. No, that does not matter.

I know you do not cover long story arcs too often (I loved your three videos on Tam Nakamo and Natsupoi Hate&Love Rivaly) but will you cover Natsupoi and Thekla feud?

Ok, the narration kills this video for me. It's the audio equivalent of your younger brother putting his finger an inch from your face and going "I'm not touching you". Good premise ruined by obnoxious, try-hard voice work.
