Loving the box!!! Would it be so terrible if I were to stain the wooden pieces including the bench darker?

So good right?! You could definitely stain them lighter! I would give them a light sanding and stain primer first though :)

This was my first box I got and thought it would sell out so bought before reveal even though I was leary about it. It's still available and I'm actually disappointed. Nothing exciting to me besides bench and not much spring or summer

I' m so sorry you were disappointed! I actually like their boxes more than other brands because they do offer less season-specific items, and instead have decor that can be used year round. But to each their own!

​@Wendy Bentley I just thought maybe a little bit of color would be nice, the bowl reminds me of a witches cauldron and the artichoke thing I don't get lol

@@xxviciousbeautyxx Totally agree about the similarity with a witch cauldron and why does every box have to include a cutting board! I liked the wreath and the bench but would probably stain the bench a different color.

@Shannon Downs Yeah the boards you can literally get anywhere now, homegoods alone has tons. It was a rather boring looking one too.
