That was beautiful! As a person who watches the skies south of Lacrosse - this makes me so happy. And, eagles are wonderful there - we saw 8 - 9 immature bald eagles near Brownsville, MN in early May. Makes your heart sing!!!! Tammi

At 5:58 PM I got to see D22 take off! What a sight as I have never got the experience to see a take off live! I was there the week before to experience the hovering and to see all 3 on the edge of the nest and see the parents bring in fish! What a blessing to see all that and then to see this. I went last week because I felt this would be the week and I better go or I may never see them in the nest again. And to wish them well in their glorious journey. Thank you eaglets for the wonderful experience!

Fly high and far D21 - what a beautiful take-off! I had predicted that you and D22 would both fledge this weekend - watching D22 a couple hours later looked like it was on the verge and wanting so badly to join you! Soon, little one, soon you'll all be together again...
