Thank you for the TS. Both D27 and D28 scored food despite D28's problems with balance etc. D26 did not seem hungry and perhaps had fed well earlier.

I hope that the smallest one will learn SOON how to feed. There is plenty of food around, but...it needs to go to the stomach. So far, I see that the little one still has a BIG problem with balance :-) :-) :-)

And we human mothers think it is tough to feed our babies. Hah! What a job these parents have!

Mom and Dad Decorah do work much harder than human parents to feed their young. However, their territory does include a fish hatchery and stocked streams where they are more than welcome to fish. Other Bald Eagle parents are typically faced with more challenges in keeping their young fed.

I feel a little better watching D27 eats at least but I'm concerned for D28. D26 is very aggressive.

While Mother Nature is more than capable of throwing nasty curve balls Mom and Dad Decorah have had 100% success in raising all hatched eggs to fledge. Varying degrees of sibling aggression is the norm for Bald Eagle nests. It usually subsides after two to three weeks.
