For your calendar time each day, you can use the base ten blocks, and also those larger cardstock or plastic coins to show how many pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters for each day, as well as counting up to the 100th Day (if you even do something special for the 100th day of school.)

I’ve had up to 38 students in my classroom and struggled with where to put everyone and give myself a space plus a whole group area and small group area. My fix was to set up desks in a “U” shape and some “arms” on the sides. I utilized the open middle area for whole group and it gave me a teacher area/small group area. I often use this configuration when my numbers are over 25 students as I don’t have a very large room. Maybe try this out in your class to open your floor plan??

I wish I could get rid of my extra desks! We are forced to have 28 desks and chairs in our classroom, even if they aren't being used! They take up so much space

So eventually some of my desks will be taken out for other teachers to use; because every room we have on our campus is full. And some of those rooms don't have desks or chairs. But I got very lucky, my co-teacher's classroom was the overflow room so she has at least 4 teacher tables, and 50 chairs in her room right now.
