@@therealstarandsky715 when I was growing up Halloween used to be so evil kids were getting poisoned when they ate Halloween candy, parents had to check the candy before the children could eat it to make sure it wasn't poison and safe to eat, they had to make sure the fruits didn't have any broken pieces of glass or broken pieces of razor blade in it so when the child bite into the fruit it won't cut their tongue, children had to trick-or-treat in the morning if they were by themselves so it will be safe, if they did trick or treat at night they had to trick or treat with a group of people so they can stay safe, and not get kidnapped they had to trick or treat around neighbors that they knew and trust because you always heard on the news about this child getting kidnapped or that child getting kidnapped during Halloween time, you would always hear the parents tell the children before they go out to trick-or-treat, don't eat the candy wait until you get home, I want to make sure it's safe make sure the candy has not not being tampered with or been open, this is why I never understood why anyone called that holiday happy Halloween because when I was growing up there was nothing happy about it this is why I refer to it as the devil's day because there is so much evil during this time
