I’m a vintage girl. I actually have a collection of different ornaments and I love them too. The only ribbon I’ve ever done on a tree is a red velvet on the top .. I’m a little traditional with red and green.. love the owls on your tree. Your tree is beautiful… Merry Christmas!!

lol we have two trees, technically… a surprisingly robust 12 in high tree with about 20 sentimental ornaments on it and an even smaller brush tree with little balls! 😂 We have a bigger tree too but space is tight…selling so much of my and my elderly mother’s stuff (besides all the heirlooms & family-made art, ofc) as possible…turning her hoard into more resources for her! But with a sales operation in one corner and an elderly woman’s impressively large puzzle-art-games table & supply collection (she has over 100 professional color pencils lol, but at least we’ve given up the sewing machines that are not used at all anymore; I took 10 years of lessons and was still a bad beginner)…we just ran out of space!

Hey love, that turned out so great! Good job! Our 9 grandchildren have trimmed our green tree since they were little. But, jobs, school, sports and life hasn’t given them a lot of extra time lately. And we set it downstairs behind our couch and can’t see it much anyway. But about 4 yrs ago we bought a frosted tree and we put it upstairs where we watch TV at night. It’s all blue and silver ornaments with large rustic branches and ting. Very rustic and snowy! Since we don’t set it up til after Thanksgiving we leave it up til 1st of February ❤️

I love your tree! You whipped it together like nobody's business!!! The last 4 years, Ive had a 4ft tree. Soft white lights. Red garland, silver garland. A few meaningful ornaments. A few cute dollar store type too. My topper has been a big red velvet bow with a smaller but thicker sparkly silver sequin bow tied to it. I was at a loss for a topper, but when I put the 2 bows together...perfection! Both are dollar general/family dollar bows. I have since added some nice fabric ribbon that was on gifts, even a really cool burlap bow that was on a gift one year. I absolutely love my tree. I will unplug it after new years day, pick it up and carry it, as is, bring it to a corner in our basement for next year! Years past Ive done blue, ivory and gold. Red and white. Red and green. Green. Im thinking about solid green lights and green garland/ribbon for next year... Merry Christmas!

I have 2 trees because I have too many ornaments. The 7.5 ft tree has ornaments I have collected, or made by my kids or they are gifted. I do some ornaments in the back. The 4 ft tree is all Smoky Mountain decorated. I like white lights. I leave mine up until New Year's Day. Merry Christmas. Your tree looks beautiful.

Untangling lights is the worst! Lol! When I do use regular lights, I save paper towel rolls (the cardboard inside) and put one end thru the middle and then wind them around! It helps a lot! Thank you so much for watching!! 🥰❤️❤️
