Hi Jonas and Lindsay, I've been enjoying your videos for about 2 years. I am soon to be 75 years old in August. I was born in New York, and as a child lived in the Catskill Mountains, until we moved to the West Coast. Living upstate is some of my Fondest Memories. I truly remember it like a Fairytale life. Thank you for bringing The Simple Pleasures of life back to me. Happy summer. Looking forward to more of your wonderful videos.

Thank you, Lindsay and Jonas, so much for sharing this! My dad [who passed last year] is Swedish and was born the day after Father's Day - so the whole month of June is special for us! Father's Day, Dad's birthday, first day of summer, then Midsommar! It's such a treat to see the Swedish theme, the strawberries, the linen, and just everything [and Lindsay, I'm inspired to crochet myself some hair kerchiefs now]...

Such a sweet video. I sure would love a bite of that yummy cake!! Looks delicious! Tibby is a darling! Chipmunks are so cute! I appreciate what you were saying about taking some time for ourselves. I really don't do this one much. I work full time and my most enjoyable things are things that I see out in the countryside. I drive for a living and have seen so many of county roads and places I never knew existed. I saw a deer that had just given birth to twins! They were the cutest little things! I see lots of rabbits, squirrels, deer, cows, horses, chipmunks, and various other creatures!! My job is helping people so that is a blessing too. I thought of you this week Lindsay. I saw a girl hand in hand with a guy. She had on boots like I have seen you wear. Her dress was very retro looking, and she was wearing a hat. I so wanted to tell her how adorable she looked, but when she turned around, she had all these rings in her nose, and that just....well, I know it is the fad now, but I am older and old school, and the rings and face piercings are so gross to me. She did have black short hair and the red lipstick! Just a darling girl, except the rings were....yuck. To each their own I guess. I do hope that fad fades away. I see beautiful girls/women and they have those ugly gross things hanging from their nose. I admire the love that you and Jonas show for each other. You both are so lucky to have found each other! Lindsay, I think you would look so pretty with your hair up and a hat on, kind of like on Anne of Green Gables?? I don't recall ever seeing you like that, but I think you'd look great. Love your long dark hair and you are always so pretty! I don't look good with hats on and I wish I did. Sorry for this being so long.

Lovely video. I love strawberries and had everything strawberries in my kitchen since the 80's. I just finally let them go last month and now I see everyone decorating in strawberries! 😁. I don't know if that means I am ahead of the times or behind them🤣🤣. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as whatever you choose brings you happiness.
