Something my Aunt taught me years ago on how to correctly place silverware… “The fork, spoon and knife got into big argument and the fork got up and left”. That little tip help me to remember that the fork is placed on the left and knife and spoon on the right.

I know this is previously recorded and you may have made some changes by now. But if you haven't, I love the darker placemats. The darker placemats pop on the table, where the lighter placemats kind of blended in with your white/light chairs. As far as your flatware, the fork should go on the left side of the plate -- so fork(s) (salad, then dinner), then plate, then knife with the blade side pointing towards the plate, and then the spoon. And then you'd place your wine glasses or water glass above the knife and spoon. And so you won't have to move it when guests sit at your table, can I suggest you shifting your plant that's on the table to the corner of your counter where it meets the wall and replace it with something not so tall. That way your guests won't have trouble seeing each other over top of the tall plant. And while you were in Ikea, I kept saying, "The curtain for the sliding glass door! We need a new curtain! The curtain!" And let me just say how I can really appreciate NOW how you went room by room as you decorated and not just threw stuff together as you went. I will certainly follow your lead when I redecorate my house. Everything looks so cohesive!

The new couch is nice. Fits much better in the space. Most of us like what we like and don't consider if it fits in the space properly until it's delivered. I learned that lesson the hard way too. Love the paint on the front door - so chic.

Beautiful home decorating!! If you want your dishes centered, the fork goes on the left of plate. On the right of plate it is your knife then the spoon. Glassware always goes on the upper right. But what ever way you do it, it looks fabulous.

For the stickers. Soak in soapy water. The stickers come right off w/ no residue. You can also add a little bit of white vinegar to the water.

Ugh right! Just the strongest glue for a sticker! I can usually get the sticker goop off with a mixture of baking soda and olive oil. Slap it on there. Let it sit for a lil bit and then just wash it off. It takes labels off stuff too. I love your new couch! Jewel tones make everything so luxe! I love it!

To remove any stick stuff dawn dish detergent, hot water, and the scruffy side of a sponge. I've used that to get stickers off my mirrors, glasses, and even a parking sticker on my car once lol
