i used to use the original colour triggers for everything but once 2.2 dropped robtop removed the official textures and replaced it with the 'Col' template texture, making it harder to use since the colour trigger just. doesnt ever feel right, *ever* (i also replaced pulse triggers with the colour trigger pulse gimmick for the same reason)

Yeah, it was a neat trigger, kinda sad Rob changed it. I definetly felt nostalgic when I found those since I built some of my first levels with those. The 2.1 color trigger though is much more flexible in my opinion, since you could change anything whilst using the same placed trigger.
