I’ve got a tip for you …. If you don’t want your gingerbread candle to burn down any further just put a t-light inside it where it has now burned down to and just light the t-light, then you’ve got it forever but looks like it’s lit 😊xx

For the space in the utility, I think either a bench or one of the side tables and vase or tray with candles or the ladder shelf from your living room. That would free some space in your living room and make Christmas more centre stage. I usually move out a few permanent pieces from my living room to make Christmas feel less cluttered. Just an idea. I love your theming. I’ve been doing mixed metals, gold/silver, whites and creams for a while. Love the glass Neptune stars, do they still sell them?

I live near to bridgemere and I went on Monday to get the bells. They were out of stock in white, but they did have red ones and some slightly bigger ones in white with a red metal bow.❤

Oh Chess you've definitely set me off with the Christmas vibe watching you decorate that gorgeous new Balsam Tree of yours in the lounge, and by the way it looks adorable. Your whole room does. The decorations you've accumulated, shall we say😁 blend together beautifully just like you wanted, and do give the appearance of exactly as you said, a more in depth traditional look, just lovely. And you also did right shopping your lamp out in the corner and putting that pre-lit tree there, it's perfect, I'd want that there all the time. But then the one in your utility, WoW, I loved that as well, you've done nothing so far that I haven't absolutely loved, we seem to have very similar tastes. Can't wait to see the one you've got going in the Hall, so good luck with that, and see you soon. The bunny ornaments were a beautiful touch, and remembrance. 🥰🐾🐾🎄💖

I managed to get a bell set with 20% off! I mentioned it in the comments of your last vlog Chess. If anyone lives in Essex and wants the bells I got mine from the Harlow Garden Centre. They have a lot of the other Christmas decorations in your earlier vlog too. I was in a hurry to meet my friend in the cafe so only got the bells. I will be going back next week for another look. You have amazing trees and decorations.

Everything looks beautiful, you must both be so pleased. I have just taken my Christmas tree down!! Seriously, we just bought a new one and I put it up to check it and see if we liked it. I think it is will look lovely, it is good quality with the tinsel branches near the middle and the more realistic tips...but...couple of niggles. It is a little sparse, more so than my last one, and it is the first time we have had the hinged type, so I can actually see the hinges which is bugging me. I fluffed up one side and kept wondering what to do, I contemplated sending it back to be honest, but not sure you can do that if you have fluffed them up!? Anyway, a kind KZbinr suggested getting some garland and putting it around the hinges area, so I think I will do that. I have taken it down for now because I was getting obsessed with trying to hide the hinges and faffing about with it every 5 minutes!! I don't usually put my tree up until December, so a little bit longer yet and time to get a few more bits. Looking forward to more ideas...xxx
