As a woman in the culinary industry for the last 20 years. Remind her it's pretty much all nights , weekends and holidays. Please consider that the degree will probably not justify the student loan amount we don't make very much hourly. You can go to a kitchen and learn how to cook just the same. I hope this helps.

My sister one son don't like cake not a big on sweets but loves donuts. Where she lives at a place will make a Donuts in his birthday number so say his 21 will make a Donut in shape of a 2 and a 1 to make it 21. So when they come back to visit he has to have his favorite Donut from tbe best Donut shop we have and takes some back with him. We are planning a vacation where she lives at and as a surprise buying 2 dozen donuts and taken with us on the 14 hour drive lol

I think what people need to remember is that adopted kids often missed out on a loving family life early on so they crave being part of a close family. They enjoy spending time together because it makes them feel safe and loved. I find nothing creepy about it. 😢. I did my 20 year old son a throw back birthday of Minecraft which he loved when he was small. It’s nostalgic. I honestly don’t see anything wrong here. ❤

I kind of agree. I think it is so sweet that Heather does so much for her family, but I feel she is overworked. The kids are grown. They really should be responsible for buying and wrapping their own gifts for their siblings (if they want to), especially with the family growing in size. I get overwhelmed just watching all that Heather does. Also agree with combining birthdays to cut down on work and expense as well.
