My school won't let me decorate my cap, or we can't walk, but I would have done something Glee themed and centered around my favorite quote, "Shame is a wasted emotion."

I know when I graduated last year, my school didn’t let us, but some people bought a second graduation cap from either Michael’s or probably Amazon and decorated that instead. Obviously they had to wear the non decorated one for the ceremony, but they wore the decorated one for pictures after..you could always do that! That way you can still decorate one 😁

I just decorated my cap for undergrad and I did it in a Harry Potter style! ⚡ Mine had a pic of Sirius Black on it and it said "I did my waiting!! 5 years of it!!" (Because I completed a duel degree in 5 years.) ☺️

the cap looks so good Emma! one tip for future reference with cutting with any knives or anything like that is to get yourself a cutting mat, they usually have measurements and straight lines of them to help with the cutting, and they'll stop any marks from getting on your tables. congratulations!

I am graduating from high school around this time next year. I have heard we are allowed to decorate so this girl has been looking into many many many bookish ideas for my cap. I graduated from my masters program in February so congratulations class of 2018 ! I didn’t walk at my graduation but I thought I was going to be able to travel for it and I did plan how I would have decorated my cap. I wanted the ACOMAF quote “ to the stars that listen ....” with like a galaxy background. Pretty basic but I thought it was fitting. Congrats again !

I actually did something really similar with my cap when I graduated high school! I made copies of my favorite pages from a few of my favorite books and did a base really similar to yours! I had the quote 'On to my next chapter' on it, had some daisy and book stickers on it and had a border made of green and gold ribbon (my school colors)!

Another great video as always and I'm finally not ran over with exams + test so I'm catching up on videos. Any ways I have of course have not graduated but at this time in my life my graduation cap would be a collage of my closet book fandoms aka Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Divergent, Hunger Games, Niarna, and Shadowhunter. Now I know that's a lot but it could easily be done by putting a symbol from each fandom in collage form.
