For the fireplace; you could do a white, light cream beige or do a DIY. My best friends mom revamped her kitchen counter tops, so what she did for the DIY was take black/dark grey/medium grey/light grey/white then take circle sponges and random dot them everywhere. You could do that on the fireplace that would look very nice with the muted grey on the wall.

Our fireplace is black to match the grate & to highlight the Victorian era of the house & it’s definitely the focal point of the living room. Btw I love how these Vlogs showcase not only how talented Roxxi is but also how talented Matt is, the cinematic shots are always my fav. These two are not only #relationshipgoals but the #dreamteam! I’m really enjoying these home improvement vids, thanks for sharing.

Definitely either a REALLY crisp white for the fireplace or a black! Both would contrast the grey walls and the couches beautifully! If you go grey or a charcoal there will be too much grey tones in the room with the couches and walls :)))

In my flat, to decide if I’m going to like something a certain colour or to decide what colour to do it I take a photo of it as it is (in good light) and photoshop it in different colours to see what I like and get a feel of how it would look.. you could try that with the fire place to see what you’d like 😊

Been obsessed with your moving vlogs lately! I personally think the fireplace would look lovely if you painted or white as it gives a nice subtle contrast to the walls, Also just a little suggestion, where your living room was so big maybe you could put the sofa you were sitting on at the back of the room more forwards a little closer to the other sofa so you kind of make a conversation area and your coffee table could be in the middle, since you’ve got quite a wide doorway I don’t think it would block it too much then you could have a console table or side board behind the sofa against the wall where the sofa is now with a mirror or picture or whatever above it? My mums friend has to have a living room a very similar size to yours and that’s how there’s was planned out and it worked really well, kind of means you don’t necessarily feel like your shouting across the room to talk to each other if your on separate sofa (not saying you do) Just a little idea/suggestion, but whatever you decide I’m sure it’ll look lovely! Xx
