I’ve been a cake decorator for over 10 years and always preferred to work with fondant so when I make my cookies I naturally use that too. I find it quicker and I actually like the taste mixed with the cookie too. I have never actually tried royal icing and find it a little intimidating and I’m in awe of some of the cookies made with it. I don’t tend to make many cookies but it’s definitely a skill I’d like to learn decorating with royal icing. 😊

When you flood them how long does it take to dry?

These aren’t royal iced, they are covered in fondant or what you might know as sugar paste. The embossers wouldn’t work otherwise 😊
