I used to have one of those light up branches and it bothered me too just sitting there, so I put it in a large vase and it was sooo much cuter. Give it a try if you have a vase large enough!

Just a heads up with the Always Pan: you’ll want to make sure to never use high heat (only medium and low) and make sure that you never put cold water in it when it’s super hot. Both of those things will literally destroy that thing haha. Just read the instructions that come with it very closely so you don’t run the risk of ruining it! It’s more fragile that a normal pan, in my opinion!

I’m a trained barista, my part time job is to be the head barista at my local cafe. Because I’ve made coffee a part of my careers, I enjoy it and the science behind it, love the flavour. I’d suggest getting an affordable espresso machine for your home, and buying beans from a local shop,sometimes they grind them for you at purchase. Just make yourself a nice shot of espresso, or espresso based drink at home. The machine you are using is just… awful sorry haha. I think you’d enjoy a flat white or a vanilla latte! Maybe even buy a normal drip machine and buy a nice local medium roast ♥️

I’m a tea person. I don’t LOVE the taste of tea, but I definitely enjoy the routine and the warmth of it, especially before bed. It’s like a signal to my brain that everything is okay and it’s time to chill. I always love some almond milk in mine to make it nice and creamy 👍

If you really want to preserve the desk, you could maybe think about asking a glass shop to make a glass top for it. Probably pricey but the desk is not cheap either. So just a thought/advice 🤷🏻‍♂️

I find with the Nespresso specifically, a lot of the pods are super strong and not enjoyable first thing in the morning. Once you find ones you like, you'll enjoy your coffee more! I like Melozio (caffeinated) and Bianco Leggero.

We make our own version of egg bites in muffin tins in the oven on Sundays for the week or to freeze. So yummy and easy!

@@yolandahoward1099 honestly whatever is in the fridge we want to use up. Sometimes I’ll add cooked potato and ham, sometimes it’s spinach and feta. I spray muffin tins and add innards (bacon, ham, veg etc), crack eggs in a bowl add milk and seasoning, whisk then pour into muffin tins. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until set. I will keep them in the fridge for lunches but they freeze well also.

Coconut eggnog I think basically sounds like Coquito. That’s the holiday drink we have in Puerto Rico. It’s coconut drink with rum. It’s delicious 🤤

I love the smell of coffee. But I think you are right when you said it’s the habit/routine of making coffee. I don’t drink it daily but when I do it’s definitely a relaxing vibe. I add a mint cocoa hot chocolate powder to my coffee though and it’s definitely next level! Also Simon 🥰 you look so in love and so genuinely happy that it makes me smile so much for you! Sometimes around other people conversation and actions seem a little forced but with him it isn’t. I’ve watched your blogs for a couple years now and I love seeing you this happy!

the thing that I like about coffee is the warmth and routine of it in the morning. it just makes sense. I also like the taste of it although I cannot drink black coffee either. it needs to have some creaminess to it. my fav coffee creamer is the italian sweet cream. it's the same brand as the vanilla one you have and it is the most amazing creamer. I definitely recommend at least trying it once!

You can press the bottom on the top of your nespresso (the one you press to brew) and it will stop mid pod so you never have overflow :)

Since you asked. Tea in the morning is an asthetic. I have a fine china assorted tea cup and tea pot collection. I use a different one every morning. Yes I actually use them. I drink really weak tea with nothing in it. I consider it my hydration 5-6 cups in a pot one tea bag. for the morning. I view coffee as a dessert. Sometimes iced and plain. Other times with creamer.

So I HATE the taste of coffee, but I love having a warm drink in the mornings to get my day started? I also have ADHD, though, so caffeine doesn't have the same effect on me as it has for a lot of other people, because of chemicals and such. It doesn't make me feel energized or more awake at all, in fact it makes me feel a bit calmer, and helps me focus (although obviously that's what my medication is for so I have to be careful not to like over-do it w/ coffee and my meds and aim for a synergy instead). Also... I just loved him showing you how to chop the shallot, and when he called you "Chef" it was just very sweet! It's clear that whatever happens with the two of you that you've got a great friendship as a foundation.

I love coffee! I drink it almost black everyday (just a 1/2 teaspoon of almond milk, no sweetner) and it makes my day. I can admit I used to need coffee with a lot of cream and sugar in order to like it, but the longer you drink it, you start to enjoy and appreciate the flavor of it by itself :)

If you need something to do with the extra basket, I have one like that in my living room and I keep extra throw blankets. Also gives me an excuse to buy more throw blankets for the different seasons and styles I go through, and there’s always a blanket for friends and family when we do movie nights and what not

I would put the tree in a high thin pot! That way you hide the cord and gets it hight.
