How to Measure Your Paper
• The paper used in the video (Landscape) = 15" (width) x 10" (height)
• The ratio of the paper = 3 : 2
• Corner squares = 2.5" x 2.5"
• The ratio of the squares = 1/6 of the width or 1/4 of the height
* If you are using A4 paper (29.7cm x 21cm)
• 28.5cm x 19cm
• 4.75cm squares
* If you are using U.S. letter-size paper (11" x 8.5" )
• 10.5" x 7"
• 1.75" squares

• Card Stock
• Decorative Paper
• 2 Different Width Ribbons (One should be wider than the other)
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Clear Tape
• Craft Knife
• Pen / Pencil
• Cutting Board
• Double-Sided Tape

I love this. I made this as a Thank You card for one of my nursing instructors. Since I did not have 15" paper around, I actually made the card 20% smaller using what I normally carry- 12 x 12 cardstock. Surprisingly it turned out great! I used 12 x 8 in cardstock that I measured and cut, then the squares were 2 x 2 inch. The last measurement was 3.8 inches. It turned out great! Thanks for sharing!

+Laura Mccrindle hey the measurement goes like this in this video they made a 5 inch card so they use 5 x 3=15 inch and 6 x 2 =10 inch paper sheet so you can make smaller and bigger card just multiply with the ratio and the four square will always be half the size of card like in video 5 / 2 = 2.5 inch . i was not able to find the big paper so i created 3 inch card so i used 9" inch x 6" inch sheet then i cut the four corner of 1.5"inch rest method is same and one more thing you should try to make it on simple plain sheet first so your decorative paper will not get waste cuz it look easy but little practice is better hope this help

Great card. I'm curious as to how easy it is for the receiver to open once you tape the first ribbon completely enclosing the card then tape the square over that. My tip would be to keep the ribbon taped only to the open line of the card and the same with the square, tape only on one side. This way when they untie the pink ribbon, they can then open the whole card in one easy method.
