All of these kitchens look the same - cold and impersonal and in sad colors. None of them radiate warms, comfort or happiness. There is money visible but the heart is not in these kitchens. The open floorplan is an American thing. In the rest of the world, especially in nice neighborhoods and dwellings the lady of the house does not want to see the kitchen. To use the kitchen to socialize is a big thing in the US only. No matter how big your open kitchen is - if you use it it will be messy all the time. If you don't use it it's proof of your giant pretentious ego because it is the most expensive part of every home. The open kitchen is also reminding everybody relentlessly to cook and to eat with the giant fridge stimulating your appetite constantly. It has especially a very negative affect on children who don't have the ability to block out undesired stimulation. Believe it or not - open kitchens literally train you to over eat. and are one major reason for Americans unique obesity problem. Don't admire open kitchens, they are stupid and only good for lazy people who give a damn.
