I have done one Plate with hole stress analysis and got the contour plot of stresses.I want to plot the same contour plot in Matlab to compare my experimental result with the Finite element result.How to export data of all the element of the contour from Abaqus to Matlab to plot the contour in Matlab?

Hi Faisal! very useful video. In mechanical module visualization, Why it shows zero stress value where temperature was high in heat transfer analysis (inner circumference). Stress should be high at that area due to high temperature. How to see that stress?

I would ask, the automatic- time step size in mechanical simulations is NOT the same in the thermal simulations, why?
@FaisalQayyum3 жыл бұрын
Yes you are right. You can make them same but they do not have to be.

Please, I’m building an electrothermomechanical model. I have already built the electrothermal model, from which I will extract the results which will serve as input data for the thermomechanical model. But I have a problem with my electrothermal model. In fact, I heat by a current an object that is in contact with another object. I cannot introduce the condition of the thermal conduction type at the interface. Could you please give me some ideas to get there

It would be great if you can please contact me on my email address for deeper discussion. I think there can be a solution to that problem but it is hard to answer that question here.

If you have not been able to solve your problem yet, please get in touch on some other more appropriate platform at faisalqayyum.com/contact we can chat about it and find an appropriate solution

Hello, Sorry for responding You late. Thanks for writing me. I have solved that first problem but actually I have another one. In fact, I would like to modify the first model to make curent density applied for heating depending on Time. For that, I realise the UAMP is more appropriate among the availabe subroutines in Abaqus. Thus, could You help me by providing of UAMP subroutine code if You have ??? Thanks in advance
@FaisalQayyum3 жыл бұрын
@@pierretizemha899 I do not have experience with subroutines and cannot provide you with UAMP
