Tommy has always been a great player. It would have been nice if over the years they would have morphed he and Eric's makeup but that is not what Gene and Paul are selling and I am okay with that. This is a really good version of the band!

Tommy Thayer is an excellent guitar player. People love Ace, I do too, but Tommy being in the spotlight after him often gets him a bad rep that he doesn't deserve

A Mosh Pit ! Wow! during a KISS Concert . This is my favorite KISS song. Tommy does an admirable job playing lead on this. But.. Ace could make his guitar scream without mercy with his signature bends, slides, and tone. Hitting all those high notes that would make your hair stand on end. I'm not dissing Tommy. He does a great job.
