In my experience, the CFM per ton on DOAS units is significantly lower than your typical 400ish CFM per ton on a comfort cooling system. Great video though.

Hello, thank you for sharing this class, in Brazil and throughout Latin America I see a growing rejection of the Digital Scroll compressor. Everyone only wants Inverter compressors.

Most of those digital compressor controllers have analog inputs for pressure transducers, so It'll know if you have low pressure occurrence

If it has a return it's called a 80/20 unit.....only 20% of the inside air can be used and you normally only see those when the DOAS has an enthalpy wheel to pre cool the outside and help lower the RH form the outside air.

A DOAS will run based on DAT and will modulate the airflow based on BSP. It's not uncommon in the middle of summer to see the reheat active with no call to dehumidify. Its to keep the DAT at set point. That's why modulating re-heat is really popular

doas aren't designed to cool spaces. they are designed to treat outside air

Knowledgeable individual presenting, But I feel he needs some more experience or training in how to be an effective trainer.
