I have been wanting one (or even better 2) of these subs for a long time. I wasn't sure what i was going to do with them until i moved...to a much bigger house. Now i am planning on hooking both of these up to my home system. I have dedicated amps (with dedicated wall outlets ) just for them. They already rumble the house like crazy with NO box! I can't imagine what they will sound like once i build the enclosure(s). Subscribe and you will see!

3 dedicated outlest (2) 20a, (1)15a should do the trick. I think! This is just one of many steps in my home audio/home theater project. (please check out the previous video's just a few back to get caught up) Yes, i am WELL aware you can spend $1,000,000 on equipment. Yes i know no matter what i show you, you saw something nicer on the internet somewhere. As time go's on i will make changes and do more fun stuff but rule #1 whether it is car audio or home audio. Do the best you can with what you got. Do it RIGHT, even if someone's cousin's uncle's neighbor has something nicer. I LOVE how this sounds BEFORE the 33's (with just the 2 12" subs) so i can't imagine how great it will be when i build the new enclosures. Stay tuned, subscribe and see what i do! I am not even sure so join me as i try to figure it out!

Was the choice to go for 2 20A for the subs just futureproofing? I am a long time fan of your videos, always learning stuff which is awesome.

@@ghostid544 it's one 20a for the sub amps and one 20a for the Processor/surround amps. A 15a for the TV and the rest of the stuff (as stated in the video).

one of my best memories in California is installing a complete home theater system including running the electrical lines it was a great time and the build was wonderful. what surprised me is how many so-called electricians don't have any idea how to put in a box in the drywall. this dude knows what he's doing straight up absolutely a pro!

This is exactly what I had to do . I ran 3 20 amp circuits in the box and 3 20 amp wall sockets. I got 4 15" monolith thx subs 1,800 rms 3000watt peak and they would not stay on under heavy load. But now all my Emotiva amps and pre pro & subs are running at the optimal performance. You did it the right way Steve I can't wait to see thise 33" in action at the crib .

Love those oscillating tools, the best tool to cut openings with without it being too large or too small. I can almost visualize a full emersion experience in a movie with those 33" subs. One song that would be awesome to see played on a system like this would be slow death in a hearse by bassorcist.

Pain in the rear on exterior walls since they had insulation. But worth it in the long run as its super nice not having wires and speakers that are seen
