John Deacon was said to be the first bassist to bring melody to the bass. John and Roger were so in sync with each other they were called the sonic volcano

Thanks, for recognizing John. he is so underrated. Dragon Attack was said to be Johms favorite Queen song. You can understand why.

I agree that John Deacon did not get the accolades he deserved. But with a band like Queen, led by Freddie Mercury, it was easy to be in the background. Freddie was the main attraction. Brian May was next for notoriety. But together, they were magical, and it all came together. That's what made Queen so spectacular . P.S. I love your comments, thank you .

Thank you so much for mentioning John Deacon in this way. To me he is the most underrated Queen member. I think it could be caused by his shy and reluctend personality. So the are only a few Bass solos of him - maybe 4 or 5 on 15 studio albums of Queen. But nevertheless I became a hobby bass player because I wanted to be able to produce such wunderfull tones like him. To me he is the one who created the most catchy and fantastic basslines of all in rock and pop. A few examples: A Kind of Magic, Another one Bites The Dust, Under Pressure, Body Language and my favourite all time killer bass line (which works only with the right drums) Invisible Man. The more reactions I see from you, the more do I like them. Please go on that way and promise not to stop until you reacted to every single Queen song. If you didn't already perhaps continue with Invisible man? Anyway, thanks a lot.

I love how Brian moves across the stage to stand diagonally behind John and then Freddie joins them definitively putting John in the spotlight that he deserved. Gotta love Deacy

Must be the 4th or 5th time I've watched this reaction - just a fabulous afternoon escape. Love the attention given to Deaky, a huge favorite of mine. And see this number as a out of this world 'instrumental with Freddie Mercury the icing on the cake. Wonderful, wonderful Queen. Great reaction. So glad it's still here!❤

Such an amazing bass riff, John Deacon was Queen quiet member, and usually didn't like to be in the spotlight, but right here he shined like the star he was and still is. And he had a very strong friendship with Freddie who took him under his wing and protected him. And when Freddie died it was too painful for him to continue (it seems he said right after Freddie's death that there was no reason for Queen to continue because the soul of the band was gone, and no one could ever replace it. His phrase "It's like having a Ferrari in the garage but no one to drive it, there's no point"). He only stayed until the song "Only the good die young" was made and released. After that, he retired. John Deacon 💖💖💖
