Gold is one of those rare materials that can be easily separated from other materials. If paper is mixed with others it will not be possible to get the original back.

0:01 currency are backed by reserves (gold+ foreign currency) and by the size of economy. As the number of persons, quantity of goods/services produced & traded and number & value of transactions goes up, sufficient quantity of currency is required in the market for transactions to happen otherwise people will be forced to do barter of goods or else the economy will be throttled. Creating (printing/minting) too less will be a problem and creating too much is also a problem. The right balance is required.

I am sure that I would not be received any open or actual response if I would have asked that can I say that the GDP increase cannot be actually regarded as the growth of any nation or country, my belief is that the artificial inflation is the main reason behind GDP growth and if this artificial inflation is under check then there won't be any rapid growth in the GDP also it will be easing out the pressure on the common mass and it won't cause any kind of sluggishness due to such an organic GDP Growth since the mass will have a better saving and they can always invest it in the banks also in this case, the value of the currency will be more stable as well as higher. And also, don't you think that the consumerism is a villain as well for this kind of an artificial GDP growth since it is a mean to get it going in that direction?
