Kendrick Lamar is an outstanding live performer. He has songs that will be great for a halftime show. Lil Wayne with all due respect, is not a great live performer. He’s not. There are levels to this. Dot has shown time and time again that his live shows are something to experience. He is the right choice for this Super Bowl. Name a rapper that had a hitter 2024 than Kung Fu Kenny 🥋. NONE. For Wayne to do all that whinin’ for no reason whatsoever made him look ridiculous. He should’ve just congratulated that man for him being selected. Simple as that.

I didn't take it as entitlement. I felt it was more like an assumption that a precedent was set. Dr Dre was by far not the hottest artist when he did the show at Sofi. At the end of the day, it is what it is. it may be a great show and nothing nefarious like going to a record label home city and diss the lead artist on that label in the name of "entertainment" is going to happen.
