we tend to know more about American stuff because your government pushes your content on our fyp mixed with ours, it's part of the USA's strategy in having global influence is by pumping your content to us but not doing it the other way round for you guys, that's why it seems that way. Also the internet was invented in America so it makes sense that your gov would have more control over the content each country gets, except places like China where they have theirs separate from the rest of the world. Your page for example. it just popped up on my Recommended years ago and I've been watching since, and I'm in Ghana. Same with tiktok, no matter how much I engage with Ghanaian content, I always get pushed American content like every 3 videos

A good chunk of the media and entertainment I grew up with was from the States, or at the very least Americanized. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ As I've grown, I've ventured to other types of pop culture, but America is very insistent on having hard power everywhere, so I didn't agree with her on that. 😬😬
