Bon Jovi interview from The Power Hour 1988

Nikki Groocock interviews Richie Sambora and David Bryant from Bon Jovi on the UK heavy metal programme called The Power Hour, which was broadcast on UK satelitte/cable television and on some ITV regions during the late 80's.

Thank you so much for posting this. This Interview is such a gem. Despite being exhausted both David and Richie gave such an incredible interview. I've noticed that despite being goofy in most interviews, Richie is a very thoughtful guy, a kinda deep thinker n sensitive too. No wonder he writes those lyrics. I've become a huge fan of his x

Thank you so much for posting this here, I am sooooo grateful, a true feckin' nugget from my days waiting to see my favorite metal bands - the only problem was this show was for an hour between 3-4am every Saturday back in 1988-89. Plus the original opening music and titles included, I thought id NEVER see this part of my life again but tonight 'The Power Hour' is back. Rock n'Roll baby!

Richie Sambora was so lucid back in the eighties, nowadays is another story. By the way, cool point Richie brought up about Lance Quinn. Nowadays, when I hear 7800 Farenheit I strongly believe the songs are as good or even better than Slippery When Wet. The songs were already there but the production was not on the same level. Nevertheless, It is a great hard rock/heavy metal album. Their first 2 records have amazing tunes and a lot of fire power... I highly recommend them to any rock n roll fanatic.
