Worked there myself many years ago. The people made that place. Good memories!! Great video

Glad you enjoyed the video, I had heard that a lot of the good times in working there was down to the people who worked there, always great to have people get memories from the videos

TBH it wasn't a very good place to work. It was dusty, smelly and the wages were crap. But the people were characters. The long kiln and dryer in your film were built when I was there. Once there was a tile collapse in the middle of the kiln and one of the cars was derailed. Workers had to put on heat-resistant suits and go into the red hot kiln to clear the blockage. They got no reward for this!! I worked in Quality Control and out office was just by the end of that kiln. Memories!!!

Paul Barnabas I love the story’s from abandoned places, one of the main reasons I do this. So happy they brought back some memories for you and that you can relive the differences

@@paulbarnabas9425 I remember my Dad being called in when that happened. He was one of the guys that went in. Brian Griffiths or “foxy” as he was known.

You could have tried making a bridge from bricks at the end. Careful walking on wood you never know how safe it is

If anyone does go here please be careful as there's fk tons of asbestos. Big dumps of it around places. Be weary
