Men and women most often spend a lot of money, energy, and time if they try to go for their “type”. More so, you will end up getting disrespected and not appreciated by that your “type”. When it comes to long term relationships, it’s best to go with the person that likes you not the person you like, because they might not like you back.
@ranip764427 күн бұрын
I get what you're saying but you should like that person too or else you're settling. It's so much nicer to be alone than to be with someone you don't truly want. It's not fair to them and it's not fair to you.
@Red_Flags_Reactions27 күн бұрын
@ True, but but settling is not a bad thing. It very rare to find two people love each other equally. One person usually likes the other more. The person you’re chasing usually likes you less than you like them in most cases. Most women like men they are with less than the men like them. This is because most women find most men unattractive while the reverse is true for men. Also, women file for divorce 80% of the time. The person likes the other less can easily walk out on the relationship.

They know they’re not going to get what they want but if they say I’m not gonna settle unless it’s this or that, now she has an EXCUSE that she can tell the world as to why she doesn’t have a husband It’s a BS flex 👎👎

As a black man, I do have a type, I know what I am attracted to, but I also realized how difficult it will be to find everything I want in a woman. So out of 100% of the my type of woman, if she has 70, 80, 90% I will say, that's good enough for me, I will be joyful and content. But women would look a that for them as settling, and if she does give the settling guy a chance, it will just be for while, because of their hypergamous nature they will waste the men time, and use his resources, while still waiting for her type comes along. Which is the reason men are walking away from committed relationships and marriage

Sometimes your aesthetic does not match with what your after and you will end up crashing out. You have to realistic about yourself in the dating game. I've noticed some women I've known, they may get excited by a guy they are into, may gossip with her friends about what they did and how amazing he is with shallow reasons, but he appears nonchalant, distant, bored, not really into giving his very best for her. Doesn't even seem that interested in showing her off to everyone. He sort of strings her along. He may even use her sexually. She seems determined to change him or get him to settle for her. And later on drama and maybe even abuse happens to her and she often doesn't seem to learn, she just goes to another similar looking guy or with a similar personality. And these women reject good men that would be suitable for her. They might even put these men who actually like them into the friend zone. Even I was rejected by a couple of these women where logically to me, she should have given me a chance because our beliefs, values, interests are similar and we appeared to be compatible and get along well. Even other friends and family may warn these women to stay away from those guys they are into, but she's determined to win his love or make a relationship work. Even one former friend I had who didn't really respect my boundaries and wanted a relationship with me, even though I tried to tell her our beliefs are too different and she's not quite my type, she was determined to believe a fantasy of having it work out and I struggled with temptation and trying not to lead her on.
