this is the worst conversation ive seen, it litterly loses most face tankes and is a 3rd party. if you play sunfish you make the game less fun, it should be removed as it provides no competitive play and litterly loses to parranas in 1v1

I haven't played since then, and I don't know the state of the game or the sunfish, but please keep in mind there's definitely been balance changes and meta shifts. That being said, the point of sunfish is not to face tank, it's to survive for a long time. It's a completely different playstyle than super aggressive animals like croc or atlantic torpedo. Like a stonefish or manta ray, it's quite easy to score very well in FFA with the animal just by surviving and third partying, but is terrible in 1v1s. There's nothing wrong with that and it shouldn't concern you at all.

One thing I noticed while playing PD as a torpedo is that Cachalot often causes problems when you're at 1/no boosts. Boosting forward does barely anything when slowed, and stunning Cachalot is only possible if you are quite close to them, thus rendering you unable to run away

cach is an insanely strong support animal, being able to tank, dish out decent damage at the same time, and render some animals (like torp) irrelevant with its slow it falls apart when its outnumbered, but thats to be expected with tanks

O yea, you can actually live in arctic just by eating the lava regularly, so that the temp doesn't drop too low, and if every other animal that can live here is eating the lava, you can go to arctic's deeeep instead and keep eating it there until it would be considered safe to go up again.

Tbh Stonefish was never bad. Yes in 1v1 it was subpar but in regular game modes it was arguably the best animal for high scores due to kill stealing and survivability.

pretty messed up list here, sunfish never got buffed and still loses to parranas, whale shark is crushed by most animals with actual skill, megamouth celocanth are just face tankes which are counted by gs, which counters most of you list and is my top2, marlin top 1. the audacity to even, bowhead whale is only good against noobs, I think orca should be up there on the list, as its 2nd for grabbing. and we all know that the best animal is gongulus destroyer of worlds :grong: great video keep it up

GPO can be strong, but it is class cannon and has only 700hp. Anaconda is currently weak, doesn't pose a threat to pro players. Basking is good, but it has problems with hunting. It's a tank with tanky abilities, so hit and runners eat baskings. Orca isn't so good in solo. Orca can be good in hunting lowtiers and helping teammates. But orca can do nothing against tanks and ungrabbable animals. Or just animals with armor. So orca is strong, but overrated.

My top is probably a tie between the ray and the collossal squid, collossal is the face of the game and most strong creatures live in the surface anyway, but for 1v1s it's trash and ray is probably the best. However, I also have to pick the WORST... Oarfish. I cannot express how much healing low levels is bad, it means you can get eaten BY A CLOWNFISH.

I think there's a massive difference, if we were rating animals based off of respective stats this list wouldn't include majority of the animals listed on this list. I T think in terms of basic stats tanks would obviously go first such as whale or humpback.

The funny thing about Shark is; because of the hard match-ups it faces, no one really picks Shark, aside from newcomers and veterans you still don't see Shark on the leader board in ffa. I mean I agree with you when you say Shark is one of the best tier 10's, but only in the right hands, otherwise the skill gap is too much. My bad for the paragraph though, Shark for me is a fun underrated animal.
