Fox Raceway is the home of the first round of the 2023 Pro Motocross Season, so coming back out to the spot that Haiden grew up at made it that much more exciting! Haiden Deegan and the boys over at Star Racing Yamaha dropped the gate in Pala, California- only to finish second place overall!! What a way to start this season of Outdoors, setting us up nicely for the next round at Hangtown!

Getting p1 in a heat and maybe taking the overall is a possibility. For that i could imagine a hole shot and a lot of luck is needed (others crashing, especially Hunter). Dont see him batteling Hunter 1v1 on a constant bases like we most likely going to see between Sexton and Jett in the 450s.

Hasn't been on that top step just yet, but it's not going to be long before he is and when he takes that first win, the rest of the field better be ready, because they will all be playing catch-up to the 238!

@@joeschmidt6597 it's called being real. They dominated in his ROOKIE year and Jett wasn't even on the same supercross circuit as Deegan. Sexton is a class above him and just got waxed by Jett at Pala. If Deegan had the experience and seat time them dudes do, he'd be up there battling for the chip with themselves dude as a rookie. Oh wait, he just got runner up as a rookie in supercross. Don't be dumb tho right?

Haiden you did exactly what you knew you could do. Getting in front of Lawrence is going to be a difficult task but I can see it happening. I was keeping an eye on lap times and you are consistent and are matching laptimes of Lawrence. Its a matter of time before you take that top spot. Let's all lift up his safety this season to Jesus. Hunter was also injured tore muscle off his ribs in training all week so I think haiden needs to be prepared for hunter to be even faster next week. We all know how much rib injuries effect movement. I think haiden can catch him it will take a few races tho

Haiden shows how hard work pays off. It was a real treat to drive to Pala from Tucson,AZ to see him take 2nd overall. Fan for life! I started watching all the Deegan videos a year ago and the entire family motivates me to live a healthy lifestyle so I can enjoy dirt bikes, mountain bikes and be a good family man. Grew up in the sport, raced everyone, trained at MTF. Haiden is a rare, rare combo of having the talent, the mental game, fitness and work ethic. Few people are so complete. His career trajectory and potential is as good as anyone that's done it in a long time. I haven't seen someone come out of AMs this good in a while (probably not since RV). The 250 class will be his next year and he will be battling Jett in 450s sooner or later. I think his mental game is undervalued. You can see how unflappable he is, he just has this let's go eat look about him, just doesn't seem nervous at all. He will be winning races by the end of the season. Stay healthy.

I've heard haiden say he likes supercross but also heard him say he doesn't really get arm pump or get tired. I think he will shine outdoors more than sx. Back in the day they had 45 minute Motos. Haiden could really dominate in something like that

We all need to stop a minute and give a big round of appluase to haiden mechanic. That guy is one heck of mechanic. Im glad haiden git this guy from star yamaha. You cant go fast unless your bike is setup perfect for you and it looks to me like these two will go on and win many championships. We might be seeing the birth of the next norfolk mcgrath and lawrence mcgrath. Randy was one heck of a mechanic too when he was jeremy mechanic. 3 titles in supercross dont come easy let alone 7 title's. If haiden can stay injury free like mcgrath did for all those years we could very well see haiden break some of mcgraths records. If anyone deserves it its haiden.

I dig on all the Deegan Family videos and channels. I wish all the success for your Kids. I am a big fan. I bought a PW50 for my son. Moto is in blood to this day. Casey Lytle was a friend of ours because one his best friends was a neighbor. He got personal lessons from him. Living in Lancaster CA and the front yard was nothing but dirt... Yeah BB right out the driveway we all rode for hours! Keep up the great videos! BRRRUUUUPPP!
