What a great set of characters. Jeng of course the most sensitive and in touch with his own emotions. This is such a landmark for all BLs across countries. Most BLs struggle with how to represent gays, they either caricature them or trope them. Jeng as a character is such a beautiful depiction of a normal, sensitive man in love dealing with rejection. But unable to stop loving Pat and unable to stop expressing his love for Pat in every different way possible. Such a marvellous character

Just how beautifully structured was this episode?! All the characters having their own crisis and it being interposed with the storyline of Ae's birth was masterful. So much was covered between the main characters in this episode but also included the secondary character's struggles at this point in their journeys too. SO. WELL. DONE. My final thoughts on this episode? I want to give Jeng a hug and tell him that everything will be okay. He made himself vulnerable to Pat even though he believes he may not succeed in securing Pat's feelings. He only wants to cherish Pat and look after him, and even after being told to back off, he still does this in a non intrusive way in the background. His every thought is to secure Pat's happiness, and he is the pure definition of a "green flag" and deserves to be cherished in return. For this reason, I'm glad to see that it appears to be Pat who initiates the positive shift in their relationship in the previews of the next episode, as I feel Jeng has done enough chasing without the expectation of succeeding. Bring on the next episode I say - the preview for it looks AMAZING!!

One detail about Ae's giving birth in the streets: People who easily whip out their smartphones without care and start snapping/recording someone who's in labour which is a private affair, the world doesn't need to see someone's personal matters. I was gritting my teeth the whole time seeing them snapping and recording away while Ae in between life and death's door situation. I'm so glad when Jaab and Pat scolded them and threatened to sue them. I'm also glad that the scriptwriter included the scene because in reality, people do that.

I like Chot and Pat friendship. Poor Jeng. That was so painful to see Pat telling him he should stop texting him and all. Jeng looked so hurt. That broke my heart. I hope Pat will give a chance to Jeng soon. Omg. I wasn't expecting Jeng to break down in tears like that in front of Jaab, wow. That was heartbreaking. The birthday moment was sad and adorable at the same time. Sad because Pat was sad about what he learned about Jeng but it was adorable that Jeng still prepared a cake for his birthday to make him happy, even if they're not in a good state together right now. Pat parents reassuring him when he was not well and didn't know what do in his life, it was such an emotional moment. They had such good words for him. I loved it. 9 months already passed? She already has her baby? Wow. Times flies. It's good that the woman were here to help her. And why the fuck people were filming?? Thank god the baby is born and ok, and Ae too. At first with the shock of the truck, I thought she might loose him. The preview, omg. I can't wait. They look so happy and adorable together as a couple. But honestly, Jeng wanting Pat as the new manager, I find that a little rushed. I think he's not experienced enough yet to be one. He has so much to learn.

When Ae yelled at her husband that “You are getting pregnant the next time “I laughed so loud. I taught American Red Cross Emergency Childbirth to my high school students. In fact, about 20 babies were helped delivered around the world with the assistance of my students. After all the mom and the Baby do all the work, we are just bystanders assisting. It was a joyful memory for me to Wach the delivery, heck I could have done that myself. (I did with my own kids) all even though this episode was deep with sadness and almost despair. Man’s Jeng, emotionally drained and hurt by his two failures. His love for Pat (who doesn’t see the romantic possible connection between Jeng and himself but rather Boss and employee) but also realizing that he did not meet his own father’s expectations. The contrast of parents is interesting. Jeng’s father is nothing but hard love and has a no-nonsense expectation of his son’s success while the parents of Pat, though separated, embrace Pat’s sadness and support him even though he is an adult and can-do things for himself. Like so many, my tears flowed throughout this episode. The surprise preview in episode 10 that Pat will get a promotion gave me some concern including but not limited to if Pat has the emotional maturity to handle the new job, is Mr. Jeng distancing himself from Pat now that he believes in his mind it is better for him to be a safe zone support for Pat rather than a love interest that I feel should be the outcome for this series. Anything can happen in three episodes to come. I did feel the strong emotions that so many fans and viewers felt as this episode slowly developed. This production company, cast and crew, especially the scriptwriters. Have masterminded an outstanding story. It is a long seven days to the next episode but like Pat, I need to stay strong. Dee Hup House, you hit it out of the park with this episode. Literally, all the emotion and feelings that have been pent up in the first eight (8!!!!!!) episodes are in this one episode! 😮 It breaks me to see a strong person cry and Man played that scene just perfectly-not overboard with the tears, struggling to contain himself, and portraying feeling helpless even while saying “I-can-deal-with-it”. And Jeng’s confession…with just that little bit of desperation…. chef’s kiss. The birthday box of snacks was inspired…again, not over the top…hopefully Pat will understand the message “I see you, I like you and I want to make you happy”. I will need the entire week to compose myself before EP. 10!😅

This series is written well. The perspectives of each of the characters is done in a way that allows for fluid progression to the storyline. I think it is important to understand that you can only control your emotions and feelings. What someone else feels is out of your control and it can take time to understand because perception is not always accurate. The delivery of the actors not the just leads but the friends, coworkers, and parents are done beautifuly. I can not wait to see next weeks episode.

I loved how all other characters' struggles where set aside because of the Ae's baby then they finally realized that all problems must be face and resolve one day at a time. Jeng's portreyal here as a man with overflowing love to give to Pat was well played. I loved how the storyline flows and this BL series doesn't force the common notation of BL where male leads need to kiss or do intimate things.

This episode was just heartbreaking. When people around me notice that I like Bls they say I'm not normal. But this ep showed me again why I like it so much. (although I prefer not so heartbreaking eps) And honestly, it makes me feel pretty normal and not alone c: (and honestly...they have no right to judge anybody because of this...)

What an meaningful episode it was😍there is not a single character of which i am getting bored. Ae giving birth everyone wishing her by keeping their broken heart aside. The most i feel for is jeng in this episode. Its a drama but i feel like patting his back and say don't worry everything is going to be ok. Throughout the episode I tried not to get carried away and think seriously about what the characters were feeling. I'm the same age as Pat and have a boss who I think is super handsome (but I don't love him). When I thought about it from my point of view, I would have reacted the same way as Pat in the end. Once again, I was fascinated by this series' ability to reflect real and relatable facts. It's truly impressive. When I saw at the end that Jeng wasn't giving up, I was so relieved and happy for him, because Pat was beginning to want to give himself that chance. The preview for ep 10 made me scream like the good BL fan I am. 😂

Excuse me Mr. Jeng/Man, I usually do not cry but watching your 2 scenes they finally brought me to tears and wishing I could hug this chracter and tell him it is ok to cry and that things will work out for him, no matter what. I love that next episode they're going to get together finally. I guess one thing that doesn't make sense is how Pat could be trained to be the manager when there were a lot of other people that are senior to Pat. Am I the only one who remembers the really nice colleague who was helping Pat get ready for a presentation in a early episode. She or Chot would be more senior to Pat and should be considered first in reality.

I think in this case Jeng sees the talent Pat has for this job, he wouldn't let him be the head of that gass station ad project if he didn't believe Pat could handle it... conserning the emotional side of Pat, that's what Jeng will help Pat with (I believe), he's already been giving him some advices here and there.... alsooo, it doesn't matter who it is, everyone can get emotional and break, it's just that each needs a shoulder to lean on and Pat has Jeng... that's just my opinion ofc...

​@@The_jp_girl I understand where you're coming from. However, after giving it some thought, I think it's more of a strategic move on Mr. Jeng's part. One thing I've noticed from watching Thai BLs is this notion that dating outside of one's social, economic status, etc. is somehow frowned upon, almost like the caste system in India. I've heard it echoed many times in these Thai BLs, whenever a manager, boss, etc. dates his subordinate, that the relationship is doomed or somehow 'impossible' is the term they use. So I think that by elevating Pat to manager status, he'll hopefully begin to view himself and Mr. Jeng as 'equals' thereby improving Mr. Jeng's chances of winning him over as a boyfriend. He questioned why Mr. Jeng would be interested in someone like him, and even said it makes no sense. Even Put questioned Mr. Jeng being interested in his subordinate and cautioned him concerning the 'optics' of it all. Pat got it right when he said it makes no sense: no sense why it even matters is what I say. As for everyone being emotional and breaking, that I have no problems with. However, in Pat's case, he's more emotional than the average person; it doesn't take much to break him. So that can be an issue, especially when it comes to managing other people when he has difficulty managing himself.
