One thing! What Ro advised you about you not to keep on supporting your parent is totally wrong! Her culture is like that... or rather the Americans and Europeans... they get raised up ... grow up, move out and thats it, they leave their old parents to live alone. I say this from experience. I live in Belgium and a friend of mine's mom died alone in pain (long story short she lived alone, fell from the stairs and found dead days later. Horrific scene, only for my friend to regret after shes gone:( ) So that being said don't let your parent struggle alone... i know they'll always have ppl around but financial support-wise... pls be there. Like what your mom asked for ( the wall fence) is very important since you and the rest are wealthy and famous its possible that something bad can happen god forbid (robbery +++). So yeah i would want to give my mom the best of security there is. You can always tell her at the moment i can't but you'll do it for her one day... and you don't have to do it all by yourself, you can ask your brothers to contribute on building the wall. It not that expensive, everyone is doing it in your village ( nasto, uncle mo, marwa and more ) so why not you moms place?!. Ro is just used to that kind of lifecycle but here in Africa we do things different and not to be biased... even better when it comes to respecting our elders and parents! So pls never stop spending on your parents, is the ask too much just tell them you cant afford it by yourself and that you all should contribute. Its time your parent to retire from working and reap their own fruits they planted. ❤
