This is awesome and amazing Dee. Your visit to August Town is like you have brought the whole of Jamaica to Zambia. Iam just loving it through and through. This will always be my best ever content. Big up to you Dee Mwango.
Marcus garvey layed groundwork inspering Jamaican about returning to the motherland Africa. He had the vision of seeing seven miles of ships (the black star liner) with Jamaicans returning back to be grounded with the land of Africa. The cry of the People.”mama Africa. “39:18 .

What I want to know is what is the name of the music 🎶 that is always playing throughout your videos- I love it especially with the saxophone blend. God Bless you always. Wow! I was so glad to hear the lady mention the name of Alecander Bedward 52:55 . Jamaica truly is historically an island of great visionaries: Bedward, Hinds, Howell, Garvey, Sharpe, Bogle, Marley, Tosh etc. The beginnings of what became the Rastafari movement can be traced back to Bedward. I believe Robert Hinds, one of the very first Rastas was a Bedwardite. They were both viewed as threats to the colonial authorities and to the minority white and mixed/colored population. They were both initially dismissed as ignorant, eccentric and bufoonish black cult leaders. But as it became apparent that they were a real inspiration the black population, who had been systemically kept at the bottom of Jamaica's racially color-coded society post emancipation, the colonial authorities charged them with sedition in an attempt to silence them. Bedward was actually consigned to a mental asylum. But I am happy to hear that his legacy lives on in Trenchtown.
