the colored jelly-like bits are acrylic powder mixed with monomer, while the top coat was most likely a clear gel top coat. She used glue to fix the crystals on the 4th nail

there are actually a lot of factors that affect your bead's drying speed! when acrylic sets up it goes through an extreme heat spike, and because of that, if your room youre laying acrylic in is too warm, it will make your acrylic dry MUCH faster than if you were in a colder room! if you find that your beads are setting up too fast, try laying your acrylic in a cooler room or adjusting the thermostat. it can go vice versa too, if your room is TOO cold your acrylic will take a LONGGGG time to set up and you will be chasing your bead everyyyywhere. you also may want to try a different liquid to powder ratio. you can try using a TINY bit more monomer in your brush, working at a wetter consistency will make your acrylic dry a bit slower than if your bead starts off kinda powdery and dry ! perfecting your liquid to powder ratio is extremely hard and even professionals discard a bead for being too dry to work with sometimes lol i wish you the best in your acrylic journey and have fun! ♥️
