Spawn: Sam and Twitch Vs. Chief Banks

I noticed this scene was not uploaded to KZbin, so I decided to do the honors and post it. I feel it was around this season that I grew to deem Sam & Twitch my favorite characters in Spawn.

Everything about this series is a masterpiece. The awesome animation, the mature writing, the haunting music, and the voice acting, especially the voice acting. Everyone is top-notch here, especially the legendary Keith David.

Well firstly no you’re not. Second, if Sam and Twitch were able to get their own solo comic story, toys and cameos in the 1997 film, I’d say by all means. Since this video seems to be getting some steady attention it seems Spawn is still very much popular.

Sam and Twitch are the best Buddy Cops in this universe, well at least in my opinion. Genuine, loyal and not afraid to stand up against greater evil in the face of Justice are some qualities I admire in them! Great cops in a great Dark superhero movie.

​@@professorpenne9962i think the problem was when this came out, not many people had cable tv which was what this aired on, it was an adult show so kids weren't watching and it wasn't the typical superhero cartoon so it was a turn off for many people so not many numbers to pull in, sad but the truth

I love Sam and Twitch. Sam comes off as a jerk, but he really isn't. He's just exhausted, and Twitch looks unassuming, but he's a badass in disguise, he just refuses to allow his good nature to fade.

The irony about all this is that Jason Wynn at this SPOILERS REALLY COULDN’T DO SHIT TO CHIEF BANKS , and he’s basically dead at this point, having hardly survive the mask of Genghis Khan , and spawn, basically ripping his new gang in half It’s a sense of irony . Still, I think this is more engaging in the way it was in the show than presented in the comic. It has the same result, but it has the chief getting his ass handed to him , was well earned, and it made the characters come out, looking stronger (comic) The chief just takes himself out and that’s it, truly the easy way out, but it’s not as satisfying

That’s interesting to know, but perhaps it was so to help up the impact. , that wouldn’t be the only thing changed from the comics to this series. I believe Billy Kincaid’s death in the first season went on differently than the comics, leading to a funny fourth wall break from clown. Then of course there’s Angela being virtually removed for the second and third seasons due to legal issues between Todd McFarlane and Neil Gaiman and replaced with Jade to fulfill that intended role.

@@Channeleven2345789 I knew of the Angela debacle, I just didn’t think it happened at this point in time of production, so now looking back at it, it makes sense by Angela literally appeared in one episode
