DEEP BLUE SEA: holistic rehabilitation for children with disabilities/special needs

DEEP BLUE SEA is a 45 minute documentary film that chronicles the stories of six children with special needs/disabilities. Filmed over the course of a four week intensive, DEEP BLUE SEA explores the theme of ecological intervention-a process of healing and rehabilitation that involves the active collaboration between teachers, parents and the children themselves. The film shows how even the more difficult physical challenges can be slowly overcome through patience, care and sensitive collective nurturing.

It is hard to get through this video without experiencing love, joy, apprehension, empathy and tears. Just look at the huge motivation courage and determination and sense of accomplishment that these children experience and for the parents too! When will our society get how support can create quality life for our children

Love this. I am so overwhelmed. I just sat down and bawled as I watched this. It's AMAZING. Thank you so much for posting this. These kids and people who work with them are AMAZING. Not to mention their courageous parents. It's a privilege to watch this.
