Hey girly, since living alone these are some things that have helped me maintain a clean apartment. I dedicate each week, day to day to deep clean each area of my apartment. So the kitchen gets the deep clean one day, the bathroom the other etc. It has been so helpful esp over the weekend when I get to fully relax :) hope this helps!

Yes I was going to say the same thing especially before the weekend I start on Wednesday or Thursday depending on what it is I have to do by Friday everything is done and Monday you can fix up your place again for the new week ahead

One thing I try to do daily before I sleep is return my room to the state it was in, in the morning. The insurers I'm waking up and going to sleep in a clean space because I like to believe your environment reflects your mind, clear space clear mind. Hope this helps!

Moving furniture also move the fridge. It collects dust as well. You have to take care of your appliances so they could last you. It collects dust in the backside where the vent usually is.

i love this video, chilled vibes and your apartment is beautiful! 💝a cleaning hack i try to do😅 is whenever i’m getting ready to go out i give myself an extra hour than needed so that hour can be spent tidying my room so that when i get back from being out my room is tidy and fresh nightwear is left on the side. it’s like a small act of kindness for my future self! again i don’t do it all the time but id recommend, it’s nice to come home to a clean room from being out!

I’m the same, I always need music or a KZbin video playing in the background. For some reason it helps me feel more relaxed while cleaning versus doing it in silence. I usually play some kind of r&b (90s or early 00s) or one of my classic artists which rotates between Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Janet J. I’m a 90s kid so I also have a nostalgia playlist with Backstreet Boys, Britney, etc!

Instead of vinegar, you can use hydrogen peroxide in your sink. Baking soda and vinegar just cancel each other out (due to their ph) and fizz. Also try two cups of vinegar in a glass microwaveable safe container and heat for 5 mins. This works very well to soften dried messes and also disinfects.

love to place a small towel next to the sink to wipe off & dry the sink every time I use it. And I use a piece of duck tape to quickly grab hair from the bathroom floor.

a rule I had to set for myself is just put things in the proper place immediately. A lot of times if my space is "dirty", it's more so visually. Once you start slacking on putting things away one time, you'll keep doing it until you have to have a whole day to clean.

My cleaning rule is: every time I take off something that I wear, I have to fold it or hang it in my wardrobe (except if the clothes are dirty, then I'll put them in the laundry basket)

Heyyy, Whew, 8 minutes of microwave time is a lottt. Try a mix of vinegar + dish soap + distilled water in a spray bottle, then go over the surfaces again with a sanitizer whose only ingredient is alcohol. That's what I do, and it gets the job done safely, esp with pets around. But there are some materials like real marble and low gauge steel that don't get along with vinegar. . . Also if your vacuum isn't picking up ALL the dirt, there could be sth wrong with the suction power or the filter. Pretty sure that vacuums exist to negate the need for manual sweeping.

New subscriber I love cleaning and decluttering motivation videos 😇 I've liked that you've filmed while taking out the trash in this one as I always find it so satisfying to see things get discarded and all the trash around the house/appartment emptied and taken away to feel it's fresh anf less cluttered. Also because I struggle so much to toss few things, mostly any old clothes that can't be donated for any reasons. I just ''declutter'' them in a clean bag that will most likely stay in my garage forever instead of tossing them right away in the normal trash as soon as I know it needs to go 🤭 So over than just the satisfaction to see any regular clutter/junk leaving the house, I also always try so see if someone had to discard something that I struggle to toss when someone film that part 😅 And for that, I've also just wished it would be less edited as it's already like a 10 seconds chore that is often reduced to like 2 seconds with the edits 🥲 And the filming angle you've had at 2:53 would have been the best to see you tossing the things from the fridge and empty the trash as it was mostly out of the camera frame too when you've did it. I hope you'll have more cleaning videos to come in the future even tho I know it's not specifically a cleaning channel. And I'm curious as it seems to be a modern appartement in Toronto, do you have a trash chute ? Haha if so and that you don't mind filming while dumping the bag in it too, that would be so satisfying with the original sound 😊 Ahaha I've used to use one a long time ago from like the 15th floor and I miss the satisfaction to hear the bag falling all the way down 🤣

You can also use white vinegar to clean your microwave, just leave it in there for 5 minutes and then let it sit then take it out and wipe it down. It smells bad but just leave your microwave open after you’ve cleaned it. It also helps suck up any odours in your microwave and you can do the same with your fridge if you want it to suck up any fridge smells. Then get a small bowl of bicarbonate of soda and place it in your fridge. It helps with smells too.
