I watch a lot of detailing videos and I mean a lot. Detail Geek, WD Detailing, Stauffer, NYC Ammo, Pan Organizer and many more. I can easily say this guy may not have as many subscribers as the other guys but you can tell he goes above and beyond to clean these disaster vehicles. The other guys say “unfortunately the stain wasn’t able to come out”. This guy and his APC go above and beyond.

Personally, I think Detail Geek began declining after he release all his own cleaning products. He began treating his channel more as a cash cow than a business. Sometimes I even think his channel is just clickbait to try and get people to buy his products.

@@jayasmrmore3687 There's no issue between all the other channels. They seem to really support each other. Firstly, great video foster! The transformation from before and after is amazing... watching the tar deposits getting dissolved was absolutely shocking/entertaining/satisfying. Also, using WD40 to clean the seats was such a huge mind blowing thing because I didn't know you can do that. I'm not a detailer so all of this is purely for my personal fun and enjoyment but I appreciate your efforts and video foster. Also, I am a huge fan of Thedetailgeek, but he honestly doesn't know what he is talking about in terms of removing the carpets. He has never gotten a vehicle so dirty that he needs to remove the carpets. He did detail dozens of super dirty cars before, but he has never done extremely dirty ones like the ones you regularly do for these videos. He doesn't understand that it's sometimes a necessity to remove the carpets to clean the extreme filth underneath the vehicles. It can be roaches, mold, maggots and even removing water(like flood cars). Even if cleaning underneath the carpets isn't a necessity, sometimes the car carpets can be so stained and so dirty that pressure washing it might be the only solution to it, like the hoarder's car from WD detailing. This all doesn't happen to him so he doesn't realise it. Also, another factor that he doesn't remove the carpet is probably because he doesn't have space to do so. His garage is really small and it's not possible for him to remove the carpets unless he parks the car outside. Lastly, it's also straight up easier to extract the carpets when it is outside in my opinion(based on what I see) without small space inside the car confining you. It's okay man foster, just let thedetailgeek say whatever he wants, we all totally understand your situation and agree with you. I kinda lost a bit of respect for him.

When you say if you need to pull carpets you should brush up on your extraction skills? That’s not a disagreement 😂 that’s talking trash.

I detail my family’s cars on occasion and I have learned a lot from this channel than any other channel. A perfect example would be like today in this video I learned that they make tar remover! I used to sit there with a pressure washer and spray the shhh out of it until it was “gone” thanks for the tip!

I do asphalt for a living and our trucks look like this or worse so thats pretty common. we have some industrial grade cleaners for dissolving the asphalt and tack though. We coat our stuff down with diesel fuel to keep it from sticking (gas and diesel dissolves asphalt) but i must say you did a great job with what you had. I wish i couldve flown you out some of our cleaner it wouldve saved you a few hours lol keep up the great work!

If you decide to do a tar truck again, I used to work for a guy who delivered the tar and he had an orange solvent that removed tar from every inch of our trucks, tanks, clothes, shoes and bldg. And it smells great. Wipe on rinse off.

Hi M.A.D. You do an outstanding job every time. I really like the way you organize your work, and I think you are way ahead of other car detailers, I also liked Geek for a while, but I don't like the way he cleans the interior upholstery, especially because he never removes the seat from the back, under which you are often horrified at what you find. Avoid controversies, continue the extraordinary work you are doing and good health. I greet you with respect from Iași Romania!

Like the way, you gave a reply... you are right detailing really doesn't have a right or wrong way of doing it, it's what works for you... (Y) ask a guy who said down below, about his videos look like it sponsored, well technically he trying to promote his products, so yea... that is his way of promoting his products ...

If I had my choice between you or D.G. to detail my $70k Ram Cummins diesel pickup, I'd choose you. I've seen your paint corrections and I've seen his. He's okay, but you're better. Both you and him treat customer's vehicles top notch. I just prefer your work. Plus my carpets would be extracted with a professional machine and not some D.I.Y. machine that I could buy myself for a single use! At least use machines I can't afford for 1 use! Make me feel like I'm receiving special service. You wouldn't mind detailing my truck, it's mint!
