Have to say your right on flood damage, the center console, side door panels, molding and carpet should have been removed also for cleaning or the smell will comeback in a month of hot weather
@rachelelabbady33994 жыл бұрын
No it's not a flood car. I've had my car in a flood before and almost drowned....believe me flood cars are wayyyy worse! If the water was high enough to engulf the inside, he wouldnt he able to drive it around. Everything gets water into it, especially the gas tank. The flood we were in didnt even come up to the gas cap, but they drained a ton of water from it. It was a brand new car too! Only had it for 3 weeks :(

The green stuff was probably slime that was put inside a flat tire and it eventually stopped working or blew out so they mounted the spare and the slime leaked all over.

@Kitten Lyric they use to not be that much. That may be completely decked out.. my sister has a 2014 brand new off the lot, paid 14k for it in 2015 with less than 300 miles on it. Most of those miles were from driving from another dealership from out of state. So, the other guy is about right. This isnt a 2020 either, so..

Just found you guys and love this channel! I do have a question, sometimes you take the carpet out and sometimes not and I was wondering why? Is it time constraint? Is it dependent on how dirty it is? Anyway, my favorite part is the extraction and water pour
@Bummer19804 жыл бұрын
A steamer would make cleaning those doors and center column so much easier!! I just like to clean my own vehicles so I bought one on amazon after seeing The Detail Geek rave about it. It’s the best cleaning tool I’ve ever bought!! I love it for the car but also for my house!! I use it on the bathroom, to sanitize light switches and door knobs, it’s just amazing!! I think at that point just pull the center console out (it’s like 12 screws) and yank the carpet. It can’t be more than like $400 for new carpets. It’s super easy to install too. Just pulling off the snap on trim and they already took the seats out. But it’s incredible how clean they got it!! I imagine this probably took like 12 to 16 hours of cleaning! If not more.
