I think some detailers do turn down certain things like black mold for example. Some people may not have the proper PPE or chemicals or tools to safely destroy it completely. I think another would probably be biohazards. Like blood or fresh vomit or other “body fluids” simply because I wouldn’t want to be responsible for cleaning up a crime scene unknowingly and also it’s dangerous if the person has any diseases.

Yeah. I agree. My goodness, you guys are top notch! You sure made great use of the steamer!! What different solvents did you try on the paint spills? Acetone works but it would not have been my first choice.

All of them 😂 but acetone was the only thing that really worked

@@MADDETAILING My list would have started with non-diluted methanol, Isopropanol, WD40, mineral oil, brake cleaner, cyclohexane (takes off silicon rubber), glycol, turpentine, xylene and others. Some will damage plastics and rubbers so checking first is important. Methylene-chloride/methanol gelled stripper for bare metal is good but will damage many surfaces. Acetone wasn't a bad choice since it is very fast and completely water soluble and rinses well. Good work.
