@@D1Garage_ that does explain a lot there probably just always to busy to clean the car it's kinda difficult to clean a car and watch that amount of kids I don't have kids and sadly won't ever because of complications but even I get to busy and can't clean my car's 2 suv's and 1 muscle car so they tend to get dirty but when I do get the time they do get cleaned

My parents had 4 kids and our car was Never dirty. We were not allowed to have or drop crayons/markers/food all over the car. But people also have really busy lives these days. Still, as a detailer, this guy is probably glad that these clients exist because he gets to make money from it ;-) I used to clean a school and when the mess of the place was beginning to frustrate me, I would remind myself that was why I had a job

Did a van similar to this last year, I tried to price myself out of it (500 for interior and 120 for express exterior), but she paid happily. $300 for this is a gift, my hat is off to you. I am also in WA, (Vanc) and my minivans no start at 300 for interiors and typically run over 450ish. Very nice work!

@@D1Garage_ since it was this dirty. I have a few tricks to share. Tough dirt needs higher PH detergents, using a strong fabric detergent would have done the job better , it will foam a lot and get dirt out efficiently. After that You can then use a fabric softener with water and spray it on the cleaned areas. Let it sit and dwell for 10 min and then drill brush and extract. The softener will neutralize the PH of the detergent, soften the fabric and leave a nice smell as it does with clothes . On good carpets it does make it nice and fluffy. I know its twice the effort, but some vehicles like the one you guys did, could use this method. AC's in such vehicles can have a mold or other elements growing in the vents and complete air piping. Make a strong concentrate of a disinfectant like lysol or others brand with water, ratio 30:70. ratio. Take small amount of it and use it in your steamer, now the steam will have disinfectant ready to travel with it . Use it in the following locations. 1) thru the air escape vents in the front and the edge vents behind the dashboard where the windshield and dashboard meet. Also if you have second seat vents , roof vents, pillar vents and if you have vents at the rear windscreen. 2) air intake pipes, under the seats. There are air intake pipe under the dashboard ,facing into the footwell. 3) remove the AC's filter, mostly it is located behind the glove box. Pass steam thru the ac filter opening , this will disinfect the blower. Make sure you do not have dripping water being sprayed out of your steamer nozzle while doing this. Use a descaler in your steamer as the disinfectant can cause deposits on your heating coil in the steamer after prolonged use. Best would be to have a separate steamer if you can afford one. Hope this helps , all the best to you guys 👍

Hey guys, nice work! That was one of the dirtiest I've seen on YT and you did a great job! It's easy to criticize, complain and compare. Now this is the first video of you guys which I have watched. I know you guys did a great job working on the car interiors which was looking good after deep cleansing. Just some suggestions from my end though. When you use the tools, it's good to keep the sound mute or a background music will also work great as some people might get irritated with the sounds of tools which you are using. I didn't felt so though. Also, you can also have a look at some other car cleaning videos on KZbin. Detail Geek videos might also give you some more ideas on how to clean the car with some pretty high powered tools which will save your time and efforts. Please note I am not comparing your efforts with other people or for that reason to Detail Geeks. You guys are doing great. I know you will eventually reach to the point where you can be the one on top of the list. Lots of love from India.

A good and quick way to clean interior plastics is to use a wool exterior wash mitt with your interior solution of choice. Just spray panel and mitt then agitate panel with mitt, then wipe (blow out with air) with microfiber. This method is effective yet time efficient and works really well. Then use brushes in the intricate areas. You can also dip mitt into a bucket with water and grit guard and wring out after every panel.

I have never seen a detailing video that had so much extraction to do that the video didn’t include shots of the extractor cleaning until the water is clear. You said above the job took 16 hours. I believe it. 😮

Quick question - Do you think a wet/dry shop vac is sufficient to remove moisture from seats and mats until I got a proper extractor?

I’ve watched A LOT of detailing videos. This is the worst I’ve ever seen a car. Normally I’d be the person that would sympathise with the owner, not knowing their situation and all but god damn this is just disgusting. I hope you charged extra.

I think I would have turned this down because it's a guessing game as to how long it will take or just for an interior £350 -£400 but good job, I am now retired so only play at it now with friends and neighbours ( yes it is the right spelling it's English ) 😀

Car dealerships should give away condoms with every vehicle purchase. For serial breeders (5 kids or more), cars with concrete interior would be a perfect solution. Another solution would be placing kids in a plastic bag (with the hole to breath...I’m not a monster) and restricting them to trunk area only. Roof racks are also acceptable if weather permits. Speaking of the detail....great job, but consider a little investment to make the job easier.....flame thrower and napalm combo is strongly recommended. We “cleaned” entire country once....imagine what that will do to filthy car.
