I worked on a customers that was always in similar condition and bonus the guy was an alcoholic/habitual drinker whatever category. Regardless he drank to the point of being sick and apparently it occurred while he was in the car.

In Brazil, a car have a huge price so people tend to care of it( some.. ) I don't know how people in USA let the cars get in to this condition... Any way, nowadays, your car is almost your second home so its amazing someone drive a car like this. Hello M.A.D., new subscriber here since i just found you not long ago and I'm obsessed with your videos. Thanks for your hard work to give us the inside on your job. May I suggest but more request something else you could do while you renovate your new place? Since my favorite part is the soapy moments and the water sound would it be possible for you to make like a compilation of just the outside wash process for several cars and/OR post separate videos of the wash by itself but without speeding it up and the original sound pleaseeeee. Hopefully my dream, or well my weird obsession, with the soap comes true lol thanks 😅

Trial and error for me too. Started polishing my own car, family cars, then a mate gave me a rough MX5 (miata) to learn wet sanding on, and the rest I have kind of learned as I went along. Never had any lessons, never got any accreditation, have plenty of people wanting their cars polished. :)

This detail doesn't get old. I'm surprised how much abuse the materials can take from the customer and cleaning. They come out as good as they're going to get. Do y'all do plastic restoration like repairing scratches and gouges, or is it better to replace those parts? Sometimes, having them perfectly clean reveals how bad they are. That must be frustrating. I'm excited to see the new shop. MAD is blowing up! It seems like you recently moved into your current location. YT infotainment is fun for us watching, but it's a separate job to itself. The cost you told us is crazy! You'll need a dedicated YT business unit the way things are going.

I have my own little business too, so I know about the struggles paying everything and everyone else before you know what's left to myself. My impression of people on YT is always: They SHOULD put in some number like 25 or whatever for the hours they spend until a video goes online. Because otherwise they tend to wear out after a few years. This leads to my question: If you put in a number like I mentioned above for your time per video, would it still pay off?
