Lol. There is no excuse for the vehicle being that dirty and I don't care what type of Life they live or kind of people they are. You take care of the things that mean the most to you and your car is kind of a reflection of your lifestyle, and to me it just showed that they were lazy and irresponsible. I clean and fully detail my car once every week and everyone else should do that too and if you're too busy or just can't bother to do at least that then you need to change your life. Keep their vehicles in immaculate condition so again no excuses. We should be holding humans to a higher standard than that because that is not a good example for their kids or anyone else's kids.

We were always allowed to eat in the car and the most cleaning it ever saw on the inside was a vacuum and it never looked anywhere close to this car. Obviously, they choose not to even try to keep a clean car, nor do they teach their children to clean up behind themselves. Both kids touched the outside of the car without any regard, and the parents said nothing. Unfortunately, I have no faith it will stay clean. But bless your heart for your generosity.

It is easy to clown on people like this, but honestly, you’re right. I know that when I’m in a bad place, my living standards can go down. And when you put some order into your chaos, you take pride in your possessions and yourself. And you give yourself an opportunity to improve bit by bit. So hopefully they find a new opportunity for improvement in this great gift they’ve been given.

My grandfather had a work car with grey textile seats which was one of the dirtiest interiors I have seen personally: never cleaned, dirty clothes, wet clothes, saw dust, regular fine gravel dust, tools, screws and paper notes everywhere, and the seats STILL looked like a sterile hospital operating theater compared to this. How does one do this? And really kids is not an excuse because you control your kids, tell them what they can or can't to and you're supposed to teach them.
