How about deep are you when targeting snook and reds? My boat has a 13" draft plus the motor so not sure I can get very close to mangroves

So now that’s winter time there’s a lot less water but wherever you go in shallow use a incoming tide so you can get back out until you learn where you can and can’t go. On this video there is a big cut in between bull and turtle Bay. That was about 6 feet deep, but normally it’s usually around 3 feet of water when I’m fission bushes with cut bait. But there are plenty of mangroves that you can access with your boat. ladyfish bait though is a summertime thing this time of year use shrimp

thats where I fished for years in the creeks near the mouth of the myakka but now my boat is in the lower harbor and thanks that one reason why I started the channel. no one else was making any fishing videos here@@brianlb78
