Deep Dive: Ephemere Tarot Majors

NOTE: This deck was sent to me for the purpose of review. As you can see from the length of the video this is not a flip through, I am sure there are others out there if you just want to see the cards, understandably. The bulk of the video is diving into the restructuring of the majors that the creators have done. There is a quick flip through of the minors at the end.

I was about to pre-order a copy of the True Black and was undeceided about purchasing the Ephemere Tarot in the "bundle price". I looked at a few flip throughs and on surface level, the Ephemere looked just like a pretty figures with gold foil. Luckily I came across your Deep Dive. Your exploration of the guidebook and explanations of the amazing information contained in each major card, especially the gold foiling, had me pressing the order button before you were even a third of the way through the majors. A truly amazing deck and reminds me of learning the unique system of The Merlin Tarot over 30 years ago. Thank you for this great Deep Dive.

I just got mine, so I loved walking through it with you. I write fiction, so I'm loving the way the majors were done. I can totally see using them to help with storytelling in a different way than the traditional majors.

Thank you, thoroughly enjoyable intro to this deck. You always rock it! 😊 Not a deck for me, although I do really like everything in the LWB … but can’t see where I would use the deck. 🤷‍♀️ Like you, I do let my Cosma and Dreams of Gaia be their own thing but I love their art so use them easily and comfortably but this one just isn’t a visual that resonates.
