If you invest in a resurfacer get the Venmill Hybrid V2, it’s what I use at my Game X Change. Works really well!

You should look into the Eco Smart option (not the auto smart) - they have refurbished ones at $2,500. I've talked with the folks at Elm and they usually have some of them available, just not on their website.

I would consider running a "Warehouse" instead of a video game store. You can keep the the hours super short or do appointment only. Warehouses also tend to have lower overhead than retail storefronts.

Long video, but a good one! Nice $8-10k profit. Also, you mentioned the idea of opening a video game store. Could you do something like that on a smaller scale like the shed in the middle of nowhere video game store? Maybe that would need to wait till your new home, but maybe you could find a spot like that. Just and idea. Also, maybe just work out of a rented office space. We have a place near me where they do mini storage as well as shipping, and shared and/or private office space all in one spot for pretty good prices. Maybe look into something like that.

Don't just jump into a store then. Maybe do a flee market booth, since you already know which flea markets are good. That will give you a idea of what will fly off the shelves. Then after doing that or having spankie do it then you can go from there.

It's a bad call, an office or warehouse just create overheads that need to be paid. As long as he has the space to store and process the games (which he seems to), any more space won't add any value

I´m genuinely surprised you still haven´t upgraded your disc resurfacer considering the volume you have been buying for a while now. JFJ Easy Pro is a terrible machine when you have huge volume of games due to the manual labour. Eco Pro 2 is also a decent machine for $1,500 if Eco AutoSmart price is too steep :)

Always allocate your time, regardless if you're selling, buying or even reading. Just like going to the gym, it'll become second nature. Then, you can judge whether you can use more time of your day, or as in Pheonix's case, buy/sell full time.

You travel so close to west virginia, you should drive over to pre played media in Buckhannon frfr. I know forsure we have the path of radiance cib for gamecube we have 50% rack for video games retro all the way up to date. We're not a little retro store. Why would anyone say things,about how much you pay people for games? If someone sells their games to a reseller,the standard pay out is 40 percent of value. It's not a rip off,it's business. The person doesn't have to sell to a reseller. Like Caleb says,he assumes all the risk,fees and returns. I find Caleb to be a fair,and honest business man.!😃

Yeah he pays alright. People think it’s easy to flip and resell but he has to clean them and handling returns are the worst. Don’t know about Amazon but ebay sides with buyers and I’ve had to pay for return shipping a few times.
