Thanks so much, I have was struggling to understand how to build a JSON theme in bi with microsoft's documentation. I have managed to pick it up within a few hours after following both your guides also love that I was able to change the colour of the goal on a kpi visual which was annoyingly missed out in BI formatting section.

Hello Ruth! The video link you shared (Guide to create JSON file) where we can find names which we have to use while creating JSON file is not opening. Can you please reshare it

Hello Ruth! I'm new to Power BI, thinking of switching over after spending years with Tableau. Your videos are really helpful! Wondering where folks might be able to access Theme "tester" template you click over to a few times in this video (for instance, at 17:36). Is that something you could share? (Apologies if it's been done already and I've missed that!)
@CurbalEN5 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan! Yes, you access that on this link: curbal.com/donwload-center It requires membership, but it is free to join and I send around 2 newsletter a year. Just to warn you, the file I share is my personal file so it is messy ( but it works) Welcome to the power bi community!!! Great to have you with us :) /Ruth

the dashboard created in this video uses back and forward buttons to make the interface a bit more specific and dynamic. How did you add those navigation buttons to make the filtering process multi-step?

@CheRFlowers6 жыл бұрын
Yep, that's it! Thank you. As a follow up - my goal is to create a dashboard a user can drill-through to create their own custom list. Then I would like them to submit that custom created list to me. Is there any way to configure a submission of sorts? Or perhaps a button that creates an email with the list attached?

Hi Curbal/Ruth Is it not possible to simply configure the overall title property of a visual in the JSON file? I tried several times but it doesnt seem to work when i load it into the desktop. I can configure the axis titles but not the overall visual title. Thats strange isnt it? If you know how can you please advise.

It is not possible I am afraid... not yet at least! /Ruth

Try using "title" as cardname. I managed to edit the fontsize of the title of a clustered column chart in this way.
@peggysuemarlin51315 жыл бұрын
After some trial and error, I've found this format to work for "title" cards on Matrix and Multi-Row Card visuals. Haven't tried on any other visuals yet. "title": [{ "show": true, "fontColor": {"solid": { "color": "#FFF200" } }, "background": {"solid": { "color": "#000000" } }, "fontSize": 12}]

Hi, with the data colours can you apply more then one colour to a bar chart, and have a treemap display other colours? So if someone is looking at the dashobard they dont think the bar chart is showing the same infro as the treemap.

you get into some really great stuff - but to be honest, you are messing around what you want to do 70% of the time - and fast scrolling up and down pages so it is impossible to see what you have write in other examples suggestions 1) make a manuscript - what do you want to explain and in what order 2) do not show 500 lines of code and then change in the middle, show 20 or 30 lines of code, and then at the end show the full
