I’ll second that - call him the 12th draft pick! Hopefully they’ll get rid of Newman after 6/1 to save $3 million and then C and RG competition is wide open between Myers, Rhyan, Monk, and Jennings

I appreciate the hand size explanation on why it’s an important detail. I am curious how Pratt’s hand size compares to Alex Smith. I remember when the debate was between Rodgers and Smith for #1 in 05, the big knock against Smith was his hand size.

When I lived in Cincinnati... I loved watching all these smaller schools and their shining stars... Like having family in Brookings ,SD and watching FBS games.... Got those "feels" from growing up in Onalaska and watching the LaX Eagles play (ie: Bill Shroeder was one of my track coaches and it was awesome to watch him play at UWL)... Pratt has nothing but upside, and he has little pressure. likely he will get traded or signed up for a back up at .... ... I don't know.... Texans... Jags..... Pats.... in 3 years? Playing in the MAC and other small conferences (Watson, Kraft, etc.) you have a lot more..... what's that Packer word.... "versatility". more on your plate, more options, expectiation... but not the ESPN spotlight.......... Let's go King and Pratt.... (if nothing else... maybe you will get on a Kwik Trip or Land's End .... or Jockey commercial :) ... or Culvers!)

There's a secondary strategy that I think Ron Wolf had when he drafted QBs in Brett Favre's formative years that I think Gute is emulating. That is, he is sending a subtle message to Love. You have shown promise, but it is incumbent upon you to keep the arrow pointing upward, otherwise we have guys in our pipeline who can take your place. I was hoping Gute would do that and am glad he is.

Over 4 seasons and 44 starts, Michael Pratt racked up impressive stats with 9,603 passing yards, 90 touchdowns against 26 interceptions, and an additional 1,145 rushing yards with 28 touchdowns. His completion percentage saw a constant improvement, culminating in being named the AAC’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 after totaling 37 touchdowns. Brian Gutekunst praised Michael Pratt, “He’s clearly a winner who significantly turned the program around. He’s athletic, has a strong arm, and is very athletic.” The Green Bay Packers felt confident in Sean Clifford as Jordan Love’s backup without seeking veteran alternatives, following an impressive preseason and training camp from Sean Clifford, a 5th-round 2023 NFL draft pick. However, Michael Pratt’s potential challenges this status, as his arm strength and mobility caught attention during the Packers rookie camp. Jim Nagy believes Michael Pratt has a higher potential than Sean Clifford, seeing him as a potential No.2 or even a starter in the optimal scenario, concluding, “This could be a fantastic steal for Green Bay.” Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Madden Franchise: week 17 beating the bears to finish the season with the 13 wins. Late 4th love gets crushed rolling out and breaks his band out 7 weeks. Play the bucks in the wildcard had to bench Pratt at half 2picks 80 yards and a td. 21-7 at half put in The other kid and it got worse packers lose 31-13😢

I don't see what the big deal is with the "clutch conversions". QBs did that against Joe Barry's defense all the time. Isn't it just part of "bend but don't break"? 😆

All 3 QBs making the 53 isn't a lock but I think the Packers will be hesitant to submit one to waivers. MLF seems to prefer carrying only 3 during camp to ensure enough reps but starting from scratch in season won't appeal. Maybe WR Alex McGough provides some insurance in that scenario.

Didn't the league implement a free roster spot for your 3rd string QB? I don't think the 3rd QB needs to make the final roster to be active anymore after the 49ers incident.

@@TheBrotherHoodSports I think they did update the rule so that a practice squad QB can now be designated as the emergency 3rd QB without taking up a gameday roster spot. Having one on the practice squad and not taking up a 53 man roster spot would probably be the best scenario but they would still need to clear waivers to sign onto the practice squad. I like Pratt and Clifford but it's very possible I'm over valuing them due to them being our guys though I'd still hate to lose one due to being claimed
