I just want to thank you so much for having this podcast today and for you guys opening up about intrusive thoughts. I have had intrusive thoughts my entire life and I had no idea that it had a name. It's kind of relieving knowing that I'm not alone and that you guys have found ways of coping with it. Been watching vanderpump rules since day one so glad you started the podcast!

I so appreciate the openness and honesty about what intrusive thoughts are and how they can de-habilitate an entire event, day, etc. It took me 40 years to learn what those thought patterns were. I knew they were exhausting, but I didn’t think anyone else went through it so I kept it to myself. Therapy and EMDR were extremely helpful. Also, being careful about who I let into my life and removing myself from friendships that created chaos were extremely helpful as well. Thank you again because it’s not only validating but it’s exciting to see women supporting one another and talking about these type of topics. ❤

I just watched your podcast with a cast Dana. I am 68 years old. I subscribe to your channel and watch you for a while! I love you so much! I too that suffer from ocd and bi polar disease. I suffered for so long. I was embarrassed! I tried to get through without medication. I had so many different relationships with men who used me! Not only relationships but with girlfriends. I just couldn't understand why none of them to workout? I love you and totally understand! Now I'm 68 years old! I love your progress and I continue to keep up with your work!❤

Thank you for this it was very helpful in how I move forward and realise I am not alone ❤

I just had my second baby, 13 months after having my first, and this podcast resonates so much for me! I thought at first it was just because I was pregnant, but I'm now 4 months PP and this continues to be a problem. Intrusive thoughts, fear of dying or someone close to me passing, fear of my children passing in their sleep, if my pants are too tight when I go to bed I obsessively think about it until I get up and change them, if my nose is stuffed I can't sleep. I basically related to everything you guys talked about and it's so comforting to know I'm not alone. Best podcast for me (and refreshing to have a break from hearing about scandoval)

Scheana, you talk about yourself every single episode, when you have a guest it should be about the guest who’s doing you a favor by coming on. Dayna has lots of interesting things to talk about that they didn’t even get to bc Scheana wouldn’t stop talking about herself.

Lol, when I first saw this, I thought it wasn't true. But after I listened to her rant, I was like, yes, she does. It really isn't anything new, too. But I think it is her trauma.

Wow this conversation was exactly what I needed. I am about to begin OCD treatment after admitting to my therapist that I obsess over numbers and do counting rituals all day. My behaviors increase when I am strrssed. It is embarrassing and I don't want anyone to know as I suffer in silence. Also, the intrusive thoughts creep into my mind too! The news being on the tv whenever I am home, it is being absorbed by our brains! It is so damaging.

Learn "The Stop Process"-- (NLP) to stop the thought spirals. When your brain starts up one of the sprials you basically say "STOP, STOP, STOP" and use your body (stick out your hand in STOP) and realise your brain is in a loop. Stop the spiral and shift your attention to something good--a visualization, call someone, go outside, move your body whatever. In the alternative, learn to be the observer of thoughts instead of identifying with them. You consciousness is the sky and the thoughts just go by like clouds. We can either pick a thought and give it life and energy or let the thought go. As you do this process after you start letting certain types of thoughts go, they start coming around much less and stop coming altogether. Also, try taking the intrusive thoughts and putting them up on an imaginary screen in front of you and do self inquiry--is this thought a threat? Keep looking and repeating the thought until there is no charge on it. The problem is not the thoughts, it is the resistance to the thoughts!!! Check out the Three Principles Understanding for more helpful info.

The mental wellness issues that they are talking about on this episode is exactly why Raquel should not come back to the show! If her family, doctor and agent really cared about her mental wellness issues, they would clearly advised her not to do it, so it makes me think does she really have mental wellness issues, or is she just as manipulative as Sandoval, and trying to fool us all?! I truly believe she might be using the mental wellness issues to cover up her hideous behavior. on betraying a best friend!

Out of topic Scheanna. You have always been my😅 favorite in VPR. I am 56 years old and I always think of you as the nicest one in the cast so it pains me when people criticize you. I got triggered when I saw TMZ make fun of you for not letting go of the Scandoval. My point is, I want you to be neutral on this because remember when all those years you have been everybody’s punching bag? The only ones that is so nice to you are the two Toms and😅 Ariana and unfortunately you are in the middle of the two, even Jax and Lala were mean to you! Continue showcasing your family and you and Brock will be ok without VPR. I just always want you to be the purest one out of everyone in the show. Please do not take this as a negative comment, I just see you more different than the rest of them, you are more genuine and legit than the rest of them!

Here’s the thing about watching the news/exposing our children to the evils of this world. We don’t want to do it, we want to forever shield them, but we must teach them about what exists in the real world. One day we won’t be here and they need to know! ❤ be sure to DRILL into them to NEVER speak to or leave with a stranger, even if they say “your Mom sent me to pick you up.” It’s so important! ❤❤❤❤❤
